Not broken, just growing...

Our story
I am Akash, an advocate for the rights, dignity, and safety of women and children living in red-light districts.
My journey began with a moment I will never forget: the day I met Ansh, a young boy sleeping on the street beside his intoxicated mother, who was trapped in prostitution. She was unconscious most of the time, leaving him hungry, afraid, and exposed to dangers no child should ever face. In full view of his innocence, men would come and go. That image broke my heart—yet it also gave me purpose.
I realized that Ansh’s story was not unique. Thousands of children, and countless women, are caught in the same cycle of exploitation, violence, and silence. That was the turning point in my life. I knew I could never look away.
For over a decade, I have dedicated myself to this cause—working with organizations that rescue and protect the children of sex-trafficked women, and standing alongside those who dare to hope for a different future.
Out of this journey, my wife and I founded the Red Bumblebee Foundation. “Red” points to the red-light districts where these children are born. “Bumblebee” symbolizes their resilience and potential—like bumblebees, who defy the odds to fly, these children too can rise, thrive in community, and bring new life wherever they go.
Today, my mission is clear: to be a voice for the voiceless and to help create a world where no woman or child is left to suffer in silence.
